Anthony is of Spanish and Mexican-American heritage. He speaks English and Spanish natively and is conversational in Mandarin Chinese.

Teaching Philosophy

Anthony believes every serious musician — whether they play strings, winds, voice, or piano — benefits from strong rhythm and ear training from the very beginning. His approach blends the classical European rigor of conservatory training with the musicality and flexibility of jazz and chamber traditions.
