Stacey’s impressive educational background includes a Master of Music in vocal performance from the prestigious San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in theater from Occidental College in Los Angeles. This unique combination of classical vocal training and theatrical expertise allows her to provide comprehensive instruction that develops both technical skill and performance artistry.

Stacey’s performance career spans local, regional, and international stages, showcasing her versatility and professional excellence. Locally, she has graced the stages of San Diego Lyric Opera, Moonlight Theater in Vista, and the Starlight Bowl. Her regional credits include performances with San Jose Opera and Pocket Opera San Francisco. Her international experience includes performing Frūhlingsstimmen Walzer (Voices of Spring) with the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria, demonstrating her commitment to artistic growth and cultural exchange.

As a Metropolitan Opera District award winner, Stacey brings the highest level of professional recognition to her teaching. Her expertise has already proven invaluable in guiding her students to achieve music scholarships at both local and collegiate levels, demonstrating her ability to develop talent and prepare students for advanced musical pursuits.

Stacey’s teaching philosophy embraces the diverse world of vocal music. She specializes in preparing students for musical theater auditions, whether for school productions or San Diego’s vibrant youth theater scene. Additionally, she takes great joy in introducing students to the rich traditions of classical art song and opera, helping them discover the beauty and depth of these timeless musical forms.
